Who is Esther Mouwen?
With 15 years of experience in the field of revenue management, Esther brings extensive knowledge when it comes to creating and executing revenue management strategies.
Esther started her career at Intercontinental the Barclay in New York where she received her first introduction into revenue management by working as a Revenue Analyst. After this introduction Esther worked in New York for among others, the Soho Grand Hotel, Tribeca Grand Hotel, Sheraton and the Bryant Park Hotel – all revenue related positions with a mix of operational positions to experience the effect of revenue management on the operation.
After her move back to Amsterdam Esther was the first to join the Conservatorium’s Hotel opening team. After opening, the time was there to start her own company, now known as Mouwen Hotel & Revenue Management Consultancy.
With an educational background at Cornell University, Stenden International Hospitality Management as well as the Starwood Revenue Management academy, Esther has a broad educational spectrum on revenue management.
But as revenue management is a fast paced developing principle, education is an ongoing topic.
